So what exactly is bad for dogs to eat?
People know chocolate is a big no-no for their pets. but does anyone actually know why? Contain methylxanthines, which can cause vomiting and diarrhea, panting, excessive thirst, urination, hyperactivity, abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures and even death.

Macadamia nuts are going to cause your dog increased body temperature, inability to walk, lethargy, and vomiting.
Caffeine also contains methylxanthines. Which are found in cacao seeds, the fruit of the plant used to make coffee, and in the nuts of an extract used in some sodas.

Wow, Thanks Abby. I'm definitely going to stop feeding my dogs chocolate now.

ReplyDeleteI had no clue that dogs could not eat Macadamia nuts. What other foods are dogs unable to eat?
ReplyDeleteHey! How about you make a post about what certain breeds shouldn't eat? For example, my Dalmatian can't eat beef.
